Mr. Gunn is an experienced civil litigator and a seasoned trial lawyer who has tried numerous cases to verdict on both sides of the
Hudson River
.
Mr. Gunn’s practice concentrates on defending personal injury cases on behalf of insurance company insureds and self-insured companies. His litigation experience in this area runs the gamut and includes aviation cases, premises liability cases, non-standard auto (ambulances) cases, product liability machine cases (industrial machines and home equipment), life sciences (breast implants) and mass tort product liability matters including asbestos, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, mold and lead. He has worked in a national coordinating capacity in mass tort product liability matters including pharmaceutical cases (Prozac), life science (breast implants), chemicals (diacetyl) and asbestos matters.
Mr. Gunn’s trial experience is equally varied and includes defense verdicts in everything from auto cases to complex toxic tort and commercial cases. His asbestos trial experience includes acting as lead counsel for and going to verdict on behalf of a major insulation manufacturer in the New York State Powerhouse Consolidation trial involving over 500 of
New York
State
powerhouse workers.
